Washington Abdala

Washington holds a doctorate in Law and Social Sciences, a doctorate in Diplomacy, is a professor of Political Science at “Universidad de la República” and was a visiting professor at Harvard Law School.

He served as President of the Chamber of Deputies in Uruguay and was a legislator for multiple terms. During his tenure, he authored various laws, ranging from the Living Will Act to amendments to the Penal Code on anti-discrimination and public security policies. He was also Deputy Director of the Planning and Budget Office (OPP), and today he is an international consultant on legal issues.

He has been a panelist and host on television programs, writes for El País and Infobae, and is the author of books on political science, historical essays, journalistic writings, and cultural reflections.

Alejandro Bongiovanni
Lawyer from the National University of Rosario, as well as a Masters Degree in Law and Economy from the Torcuato Di Tella University and another from ESEADE in Economics and Science. Alejandro is currently a member of the Argentine National Congress and Director of “Fundación Libertad”.
Hernán Bonilla

Hernan is the President and Founder of the “Centro de Estudios para el Desarrollo” of Uruguay. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of the Republic of Uruguay and is the author of several books such as “¿Cómo llegamos a este Estado? Estado, instituciones, cultura y desempeño económico en el Uruguay 1830-2007” and “Ramón Díaz. Una biografía intelectual”.

He served as the Chief Advisor and Director of the Macroeconomic and Financial Advisory Office of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uruguay. In 2007 and 2008, he was awarded by the National Academy of Economics, where he is a Full Member. He is a Professor of Economics and Uruguayan Society at ORT University.

He is an academic advisor to the “Fundación Internacional para la Libertad” and the “Fundación Libertad y Progreso” in Argentina.

John Chisholm

John has four decades of experience as entrepreneur, CEO, and investor, he founded Decisive Technology and CustomerSat, both now part of major companies. He currently leads John Chisholm Ventures, an entrepreneurship advisory firm.

He has served on various prestigious boards, including the Santa Fe Institute, MIT Corporation, and Harvard’s Malcolm Wiener Center.

John is the author of “Unleash Your Inner Company: 10 Steps to Discover, Launch, and Scale Your Ideal Business” and “Integral: A Mathematical Odyssey”. He holds degrees from MIT and Harvard and writes about entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic growth.

CEO of BVI Finance, has extensive global work experience and is recognized for expanding BVI’s financial services worldwide. She held roles at BVI House Asia, BVI London Office, and various BVI organizations, contributing to build strategic relationships and seminars on BVI’s financial services business. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Carleton University and Columbia University. Author of numerous articles on BVI’s role as a leading international finance center.

Keynote speaker, book author, columnist and teacher. Martín defines himself as a defender of offshore jurisdictions, international tax competition, privacy, and estate planning.
Dan Mitchell byn
Dan Mitchell

Chairman of the Center for Freedom and Prosperity, a pro-market public policy organization he founded in 2000.
His major research interests include tax reform, international tax competition, the economic burden of government spending, and other fiscal policy issues. Having also worked at the Heritage Foundation and Cato Institute, he has decades of experience authoring papers, writing editorials, working with the public policy community, and presenting the free-market viewpoint to newspaper, television, and radio media.

David Saied Torrijos
David Saied Torrijos

Economist with a focus on the Austrian school of thought. He served as Deputy Minister of Economy and Director of Public Policy at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Panama, where he led the implementation of Panama Emprende, a legal reform that eliminated multiple licenses (commercial, overdue, industrial, etc.) and gave citizens the ability to obtain a permit to operate most companies through a single step online.

He earned his Master’s in Economic Policy with top honors from Suffolk University in Boston, holds an MBA, and holds a degree in Industrial Engineering. He has written hundreds of articles on economics and finance, including for the Mises Institute.

He is currently serving as Director and Chief Economist for PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Central America and the Dominican Republic.

María Eugenia Talerico
She is a criminal lawyer specializing in financial integrity, money laundering, and terrorist financing. Former Vice President of the Argentine Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF) from 2016 to 2020. She is involved in education and is a speaker in various programs focused on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, organized crime, and corruption. She represented the UIF in global meetings at FATF, GAFILAT, the EGMONT Group, OECD, OAS, G20, among others. In 2017, she took part as an expert in operational and legal aspects on the assessment team for Panama’s 4th Round of Mutual Evaluations by FATF. She was also the Co-Chair of GAFILAT’s Mutual Evaluations Working Group (GTEM).

Pablo has held a number of senior positions in several major financial institutions and consulting firms, where he has excelled at advising clients on financial, accounting and tax driven structures. He has also been involved extensively with privacy rights, tax and policy issues in Latin America. Pablo holds an Industrial Engineer degree from the “Universidad Catolica Argentina”, and a Master’s degree from NYU, Leonard Stern School of Business.

Axel Kaiser
Chilean lawyer, educated in Santiago de Chile, he obtained his doctorate at the University of Heidelberg. Renowned as a political and financial analyst, he serves as the president of the “Fundación para el Progreso”, a think tank focused on Chilean politics and economics from a strong classical liberal perspective. Over his distinguished career, he has published numerous articles and essays, including the notable “La miseria del intervencionismo: 1929-2008”. He is also the author of influential books such as “El engaño populista”, “La tiranía de la igualdad”, and “La neoinquisición”.
