The Founder and driving force behind The 1841 Foundation, Martin Litwak is a seasoned and senior author, academic, technology entrepreneur, speaker and trust and wealth structuring professional. The founder of Untitled (formerly known as “Litwak & Partners”), a boutique law firm and the First Legal Family Office of the Americas, Litwak also sits on several international Boards He obtained his Law Degree cum laude at the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1998 and his Ms. in Finance at the University of CEMA (Argentina) in 2000. In addition to providing wealth structuring counsel to UHNW and HNW families, Martin also provides strategic counsel to UHNW and HNW professional athletes, artists and celebrities. He is long established as a passionate Libertarian who speaks frequently on this topic for media, academia and governments.
Kerry has spent the majority of her over two decades long marketing communications career either building her own international communications management firm or working with major not for profits, agencies and brands. She has worked internationally with The Governments of The Bahamas, South Africa, Cayman Islands, Barbados, Turks and Caicos, Ontario and Canada in a variety of sectors. Kerry speaks frequently on crisis and issues management, brand strategy and reputation management in the digital age.
Pablo has held a number of senior positions in several major financial institutions and consulting firms, where he has excelled at advising clients on financial, accounting and tax driven structures. He has also been involved extensively with privacy rights, tax and policy issues in Latin America. Pablo holds an Industrial Engineer degree from the Universidad Catolica Argentina, and a Master’s degree from NYU, Leonard Stern School of Business. He currently resides in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Dan Mitchell is Chairman of the Center for Freedom and Prosperity, a pro-market public policy organization he founded in 2000. His major research interests include tax reform, international tax competition, the economic burden of government spending, and other fiscal policy issues. Having also worked at the Heritage Foundation and Cato Institute, he has decades of experience authoring papers, writing editorials, working with the public policy community, and presenting the free-market viewpoint to newspaper, television, and radio media. Dan has spoken to a wide variety of groups in dozens of cities and more than 50 foreign countries. He also served on the editorial board of the Cayman Financial Review, and holds a Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University.
Nicolás de la Plaza is CEO of ZBL – International Legal Services, a global company that manages corporate legal structures for a number of clients around the world. Besides his legal practice, Nicolas is a subject matter expert in world politics and a policy analyst with a focus on LATAM and USA. He has been active in advising clients and corporations on ever-changing tax and regulatory policies and their impact on wealth structuring and wealth preservation. Nicolas currently resides in Spain and has called the country home since 2020.
As 1841 is non-profit organization, all funds raised go towards funding the projects that we feel land directly in our mandate.
